To equip students with the skills in working as versatile practitioners with specialization in planning organizations and the abilities to work in a team or independently the jobs related to urban and regional policy making, development planning and management.
To equip students with the ability to work as versatile research assistants with professional knowledge in academia, to assist researchers or teams in executing research projects related to urban and regional development.
To cultivate and enhance students’ research capabilities for pursuing further academic development in doctoral programs domestically or worldwide.
The admission channels of the GIUP Master’s program are Admission by Recommendation and Entrance Exam. Please refer to the following information or the admission prospectus announced by National Taipei University of the academic year.

Prior Qualifications | A good Bachelor’s degree (obtained within the past 4 years), with good conduct and overall academic performance above 50% of the class, or, distinction in a relevant academic field or exceptional achievement, which has been approved by the Graduate Institute of Urban Planning. | |
Required Submission of Documents | Academic transcripts | Academic transcripts for all years of attendance (specifying the total number of students of the class and the applicant’s ranking in the class validated by the applicant’s school administration) or any other supporting documents. |
Statement | Describe your academic experiences and reasons for applying. Outline your objectives and research proposal. Please restrict the number of words within 2000. | |
